Ok, with the recent Ebay and otherwise stuff, I thought it'd be a good idea to - Reshoot this.
Heres all the games:
Megadrive:
Megaman : The Wily Wars.
SNES:
Megaman X
PS1:
Megaman X3, Megaman X6, Megaman Legends, Megaman Legends (US), Megaman Legends 2, Megaman Battle and Chase. *UPDATE - NOT IN PICTURE* - Misadventures of Tron Bonne.
GB:
*UPDATE - NOT IN PICTURE* - Megaman: Dr Wily's Revenge, Megaman II (US), Megaman III, Megaman IV (US), Megaman V (US)
GBC:
Megaman Xtreme (US), Megaman Xtreme 2
GBA:
Megaman Battle Network, Megaman Battle Network 2, Megaman Battle Network 3, Megaman Battle Chip Challenge, Megaman Zero, Megaman Zero 2, Megaman Zero 3, Megaman and Bass
PS2:
Megaman X7 (worst Megaman game ever.), Megaman X Command Mission
GameCube:
Megaman Anniversory Collection (US, Capcom are bastards and wont release it over here.), Megaman Network Transmission
PC:
Megaman X4 (thanks to Gagaman for sending it me in the post! Cheap too, I may add. ^^), Megaman X5 (US), Megaman X6 (Korean), Rockman X8 (Japanese, obviously.)
The two Non-Megaman games but still related to Megaman are:
Dreamcast:
Marvel vs Capcom, Cannon Spike
I also own two Megaman DVD's of the US Megaman Cartoon: Megaman - A Hero is Born, and Megaman - Battle for the Future.
Both are Region 1.
Finally, unshot action figures, of Megaman Maverl vs Capcom, Megaman X, Zero and Axl 3 Inch toys, and Zero 10 inch.
Megaman X5 and the Mega-Show DVD's are my most unlucky expensive perchases, and I didn't want to pay the amount I did for them.
Funny story, Megaman X5 was actually 12 dollars to buy from the Online US store. Well.. the shipping cost was worth more than the game itself. Erg. To make things worse, Customs decided to randomly open the box that Megaman X5 was in (since I'd brought this after the tragdy of September 11th), and despite not being a dangerous weapon/bomb/drugs, since customs opened the box, I had to pay tax on it... (no it doesnt make much sense to me either) and that tax cost more than the Game Price and Shipping Price combined.
ARGH! Was it worth it? Hell yes. X5 was awesome.
The two DVDs also cost me something rediculous, thanks to shipping charges. £60 I think it was all together. Ergh. And then I found out that AmazonUK did them as well.. for about £12 each. I was cursing for ages after that...
Funnily enough, Megaman Anniversory Collection had NO tax to pay on it. Seriously. Despite ordering it from America - no tax at all. I guess I got lucky with that perchase. And Megaman Xtreme I brought over Ebay... in the UK. But its the US version. Weird eh?
Then theres what I consider "Lucky lucky purchases". Both Megaman X3 and Battle and Chase are highly sought after Megaman games, as they are two of the rarest (Not quite as Rare as Wily Wars and Rockboard, I might add), and the English language versions (neither of which were released in the US of A) ometimes reach as high as £50 to £70 in online auctions. And bare in mind, £ is worth alot more than $. Now thats what I call geeky.
I got both for £13 and £11 respectably. And, lucky for me, both are very very awesome games. (X3's PSX soundtrack is loads better than the Snes one and is a well balanced game.)
The next batch of close ups, are seriously lucky, quite rare, Ebay wins. Megaman the Wily Wars, is considerd the rarest of the games. And now I own it! WOO! Also, Megaman IV and V are also considered to be quite elusive. Wily Wars cost £15, IV cost £7 and V cost £10.
Then, theres Rockman X8 and Megaman X6 for the PC. Megaman X6 cost £12, and Rockman X8 cost £38. Rockman X8 was well worth it. Megaman X6 is in Korean, and is a very odd port. Strange font, super-fast-gameplay (litterarly. It runs like Sonic!), non-animated mugshots, and even emulator options. (all except Save State, doh!) This is an offical port? What an odditity. I may do a report on it.
Rockman X8, on the other hand, is probably a perfect port, with the exception that any PS2 references are replaced to PC references.
(That, and theres the odd bug that Megaman temporarly vanishes when-ever you dash.. which is.. just plain weird.)
That, and the mouse works. Theres this cute little Megaman X mouse pointer... its awesome. Awesome game. And replacing music is fun. Numa Numa song sounds great for chasing down Mavericks. And "I want to Break Free" is actually a fairly good Sigma Base theme. (Yea, ive beaten the game already.. on easy. I need to complete it on normal. Which is hard. As hell.)
Finally, the other close up.
Am I happy with teh collection? Yeah, pritty much. Since I own Anniversory Collection, theres no need for me to buy the Nes and Snes Classic Megaman games. (When I get a bit more money, I may consider it.)
I am, how-ever, looking for a few MM games in perticular, if anyone is willing to sell (for a reasonable price that is):
And preferbly, I need these in PAL format.
Megaman X2 (SNES) - This is the only game I need to complete my MMX collection. I'll buy MMX8 when it actually comes out over here, so that doesnt count.
Am I a big geek for posting this? Very much so. You should see our Star Trek collection XD.
Laters.
*UPDATE - Added Misadventures of Tron Bonne and Megaman: Dr Wily's Revenge (GB), altough they are not pictured.
*whistles* Man, you'd make a killing if you sold all of that. A true fan, indeed.
